Apostle Dr. Sandra Lewis has traveled across the Coastal Empire & Low Country preaching and teaching to congregations and people about the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Leading New Born since 2009, Apostle Lewis remains steadfast in her quest to “develop a training ground.” She is recognized as a catalyst to help individuals grow into lifelong Christian disciples who follow Jesus Christ. Apostle Lewis believes that these individuals will impact the world on behalf of the Lord, thereby strengthening families and healing broken hearts along the way.

Apostle Dr. Sandra Lewis, a native of Savannah, Georgia, has devoted her life to serving God and empowering others. Born to the late Mr. J.W. & the late Reverend Ellen Lewis (Macedonia FBH Church SAV), she is the proud mother of five children, effectionately known as Nana to fourteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Her commitment to education and ministry has left an indelible mark on her community, both locally and beyond.

Dr. Lewis is a proud alumna of Alfred E. Beach High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Savannah State University. She later pursued a Master’s degree in Education from Troy State University, followed by an Honorary Doctorate of Theology from the School of the Great Commission Bible College in Columbia, South Carolina. With over 30 years of experience as a dynamic educator and spiritual leader, Dr. Lewis' passion for people has transformed the lives of countless individuals.
Dr. Lewis’ ministry began in her early years at Macedonia Fire Baptize Holiness Church and Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center of Savannah, GA. Known for executing major conferences and revivals, she helped organize and lead key events like the International General Deliverance Convention and within the Pentecostal Ministerial Alliance. Her heart for people and her deep understanding of God’s purpose have been the driving force behind many life-changing programs.

Among the programs she crafted are the impactful "100 Women in Red" and "100 Men in Black" events, as well as the "Anointed Women of Movement Summit," and the renowned Prayer Breakfast. Each program is a testament to her commitment to building a strong, faith-based community that uplifts and empowers every individual. Through these initiatives, Dr. Lewis has touched lives, bringing healing, spiritual growth, and divine inspiration to those she serves.
Dr. Lewis is a warrior on the front lines of the Lord’s battlefield. Despite the trials and complexities of life, she has remained steadfast, always saying "yes" to God’s call without wavering. Her unwavering commitment to God's will has been evident through her continued service as Senior Pastor and Chief Executive Officer of New Born Fellowship Ministries, Inc., which she founded in 2009 after being called to return to Savannah and plant this powerful ministry.

Dr. Lewis has never lost sight of her calling. Under her leadership, New Born Fellowship Ministries has grown into a thriving spiritual community known for its compassionate outreach, powerful teachings, and transformative worship experiences. Her influence extends beyond the pulpit; she is also the Online Pastor for NBFMtv, the church’s Christian broadcasting network, expanding the ministry’s reach across the globe.
With over three decades of educational experience in teaching, Dr. Lewis has left a profound impact on her students and colleagues alike. Her teaching career spanned numerous schools in Georgia & South Carolina, where she served as a classroom teacher, site director for the YMCA Pryme Tyme program, and held various leadership roles in the school system. She is a champion for engaging learning environments and innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs. Her ability to mentor and uplift those around her—whether in the classroom or the church—demonstrates her true calling as a servant leader.

Dr. Lewis has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to both education and ministry. Her accolades include being the Valedictorian of the Miracle of Deliverance Bible Institute in 1984, receiving a resolution from Georgia Senator Gail Davenport upon her retirement from the Clayton County School System, and serving in leadership roles that have empowered women, men, and youth across the nation.
Operating in the Five-Fold Ministry, Apostle Dr. Sandra Lewis believes that God can do anything but fail. Her life is a testament to His miraculous power, and she continues to be a beacon of hope, joy, and love to those who encounter her ministry. Her signature smile, genuine compassion, and spiritual wisdom draw people to her, reflecting the love of God in all she does.

As the visionary leader of New Born Fellowship Ministries, Dr. Lewis has not only built a church but has fostered a movement dedicated to restoring lives, encouraging spiritual growth, and transforming communities.
