Matthew 25
Matthew 25 is our missions department geared to make an IMPACT for Christ to the least of these locally, regionally, and nationally. At New Born, one of our core values is to HELP EACH OTHER by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-40, our motivation is to love and serve others, embodying Christ's compassion through practical acts of kindness, outreach, and support.
Our Vision
The Matthew 25 Missions Department aims to create a compassionate community where the vulnerable and underserved are seen, valued, and provided with resources to thrive spiritually, physically, and emotionally. We seek to be the hands and feet of Christ, extending His love to all through various missions and outreach efforts.
Our Mission
Inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 25: "For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you welcomed me; I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me."
We are committed to:
FEEDING THE HUNGRY: Partnering with local food banks and organizing community meals to ensure no one goes hungry.
PROVIDING CLOTHING AND SHELTER: Hosting clothing drives and collaborating with shelters to offer support to those in need.
VISITING THE SICK AND IMPRISONED: Offering comfort and spiritual support to the sick, elderly, and incarcerated through visitations and outreach.
WELCOMING THE STRANGER: Offering assistance and fellowship to victims of disaster, refugees, and those facing displacement, helping them navigate new environments and find a sense of belonging.
EMPOWERING THE UNDERSERVED: Creating educational and financial empowerment programs that provide tools and resources for sustainable living.
How We Serve
We focus on practical, hands-on service that directly impacts lives. Our activities include:
​COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVES AND PROJECTS: Food drives and collection projects to support local food banks and families in need.
​CLOTHING DONATIONS: Collecting gently used clothing and distributing it to those in need, especially during colder months.
HEALTH & WELLNESS INITIATIVES: Hosting health clinics, providing health education, and ensuring access to vital resources.
EVANGELISM & SPIRITUAL CARE: Offering Bible studies, prayer groups, and personal spiritual counseling to anyone seeking guidance.
